We're still buddies. Just... minus the romance part. Yes. I'm hurt. A lot. I'm not gonna lie, or sugarcoat anything... I'll probably cry some more after I'm done with this journal.


But... you know what? I'll get over it. It's life, ye'know? Teen-love doesn't last long anyway. I was stupid to think our relationship was any different. I even went out of my way to ignore the obvious signs that it was going to end soon. I knew right away when she quit RPing with me, and made the switch back to LoZ and became close with her old friends again. I can't judge, though. They used to be super-close buds before she even KNEW who the hell I was. Who did I think I was, thinking I could ever compete with them? >-> No. I have no hate. It would be fucking retarded of me to hate someone who can take better care of my girly than me. Anyway... those were only warning flags. Not the actual cause of this relationship's demise. She said that she couldn't handle being in a closet relationship anymore. She didn't like having to hide our love from the world. But... I don't believe that's why she stopped loving me.

Things just simply changed. Her life changed. Things are completely different now than they were the day we started going out. Time can easily change someone's heart. That's nobody's fault.




I just need to conquer one of my weaknesses right now: my heart.

Ye'see... I recently discovered that I don't like to keep my heart locked up, hidden away inside me. I like to give it to someone else to keep. When I fall in love with someone, my heart is almost literally in the palm of their hands... whether they know it or not. It can be beaten and torn and stabbed several times and I still won't want it back. Sure, I can get angry and pissed, or upset, or depressed, or feel neglected, or get hurt... But I wouldn't dare take my heart away from someone. They'll just have to find a way to give it back to me, or continue to stab it until I'm dead. On the inside, and maybe even literally.

She doesn't love me anymore. I still love her. See the problem? The only choice I see right now is to just let change happen. And take more control of my heart. And not be so secretive about who I truely am.
